Hola from Loja! My name is Jonathan and as a life-long Lojano I am happy to share my city with you. I am very proud of all that Loja has to offer. I studied at university to become a tour guide and I came to realize that Loja is not well-known beyond Ecuador's borders, or even all that well-known within the country.

Sure, Loja is "off the beaten path" but there is so much to see and do here that, if more people knew all that was available I think they would beat a path to my hometown.

My mission with this website is to share some of the great features of Loja, and provide the information needed to get the most out of your stay here. Whether you live in Loja, or are thinking about moving here, or just visiting for a short time, I hope you'll find advice and tips in this site to make the most of your time.

I'll be posting stories, news and events, suggestions for places to see, tips for navigating our culture, and lots more. If you have a question or if I can be of help to you then please reach out and contact me. I really enjoy assisting people and as a bilingual speaker (Spanish and English) there are many ways I might make Loja more accessible for you.
